Arsenal SAIGA SGL31-62 5.45X39 10R
by Stephen M Date Added: Saturday 04 February, 2012
PRE-SHOOT REVIEW: Okay, first I love Arsenal, I bought an SGL21-71 in November or so, and then I got the 'AK bug', and thought I'd LOVE to have another 5.45mm AK-pattern I WOULDN'T get rid of this time... It's SOO SWEET!! Some don't like the Plum, I LOVE IT and I'd ordered a dozen plum Izhmash 30-rnd magazines, so they match the rifles furniture color and it's Izhevsk factory stamp!!! It's a very solid feeling, no rattling weapon just like my SGL21. It's just a beautiful AK-74 style weapon...made out of same materials... by same people... same factory as the TRUE RUSSIAN AK's are, and with the 5.45mm round in an AK-platform, a Midwest Industries scope mount for siderail mount, 1.5X-6X scope, a sling and light and it's good! REALLY HARD TO BEAT!!!! What a 'work of art', lol, the test target is a cloverleaf 3-shot group, about a .6" group, and it was dead pan center of the bullseye, will report back once I can go shoot it.
