Great gun shoots good and does not jam no problems at all

I've been a gun owner and shooter for over forty years, but I am new to Red Dot. I did a lot of research before making this purchase to ensure that I was making a wise descision with this gun/optic. What I have discovered, after about 700 rounds run through it, is that most of the stuff that you have to focus on when getting the bullet from the gun to the target is still there. The Red Dot doesn't help you keep your hand steady. However, the Red Dot does eliminate the necessity of finding the perfect sight picture and focusing on the front sight. If you can get the Red Dot on your intended target and you can keep your hand steady and not allow the gun to move while pulling the trigger, you will put a hole exactly where you want it. It's marvelous. You will find that you are spending less time preparing for your perfect shot and then executing it much quicker and easier. Therefore double taps and rapid fire are easier and more effective. If you haven't experienced Red Dot yet, I highly recomend that you try it. It's not magic...you still have to practice the fundemamentals to make it work, but you can be a better marksman using this tool if you put forth the effort. I love this thing...but I also still love using the old iron sites as well. Also, as far as the Springfield XDm 9mm, it is extremely well made and all of the parts fit together perfectly...very smooth action everywhere. The "M" in the XDm stands for Match grade, meaning that the barrel has higher specs, which results in better accuracy. Soon after I learning how to use the Red Dot, I was wearing out a hole in the target with regularity. This combination of gun and optic will become legandary.

This is the first Springfield Armory handgun I own. It feels nice, solid and fits my hand great. The safety in the grip is positioned nice,you can hardly feel it at all. Trigger pull is a little much around 6 lbs. I installed a trigger kit and got it down to 3.5 lb with a shorter reset. I'll be keeping this gun for awhile... Thanks Buds gun shop......

First the pistol - excellent manufacturer at a great price. The XDM OSP in 9mm is my starter pistol in optics handgun shooting. It comes complete with a good entry optic attached. Now the gun shop - this purchase is one of several I have made through BudsGuns. The entire process has been almost effortless every time, from the search for the "right" gun, to the order to their shipping the weapon to my local FFL.

Bought the gun with the venom sight factory attached. Gun works fine, but I was unable to adjust the red dot sight. Sent the sight back to the factory, waiting for an answer. Seems like this problem should have been caught when the sight was put on. I expected the sight to be almost correctly adjusted before it was shipped, with final tuning done by me. The magazine release buttons are hard to press to release the mag. I have an older version of this gun and it is much easier to press the buttons, either side. Only reason I bought this item was because of the factory promotional offer of the extra mags and other items.

The gun itself is very nice. Fits my hand well. It is my second XDM 9mm. I bought it for the optics, however, I had problems with the optics. I had to contact Vortex, they were very nice about it, had me send it in & they promptly replaced it. All in all, it is a very good gun, you can shoot the heck out it with no problems whatsoever.
