I put one of these guns on Buds layaway program at the beginning of February. I sent in the last payment about 2 weeks ago and after waiting 6 days for the check to clear, my gun shipped. Shipping was extremely fast, it shipped on a Tuesday afternoon and arrived at my FFL around noon on Thursday, 2 days later! The overall condition of the gun is very good. Mechanically, this gun is like new. The lockup is tight, all the cylinder bores line up perfectly with the barrel, there is absolutely no endshake, and the action is very smooth in DA and SA. The finish was nothing to write home about. There was bluing worn off of the barrel, a little bit worn off the front of the cylinder, some worn off the bottom of the trigger guard, and the bluing was completely gone from the backstrap. But after a couple hours and a little cold blue, the finish looks like new. The grips were pretty beat up, and there was a small chip missing from one panel. I threw some wood stain on them just to see how they would turn out, but I plan to replace them with some Ahrends Retro Combat grips anyway. Overall, I think this gun is a great deal for someone who wants to get into shooting something bigger than a .22 but not be super expensive.
