Like the dude below, I too received a stainless S&W 64-5 in really nice condition. This turned out to be a really great deal--no bluing to show wear, just a good stainless finish in nice shape. It does show some age/wear, but looks like it has hardly been shot. The bore is nearly pristine and the cylinder is perfect. I had my fingers crossed for a wood grip and that's what I got. I'm really happy with this gun. It's got fixed sights and no internal locking mechanism--definitely a classic. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another. The double action trigger is medium-heavy but smooth and single action is good. It could definitely use some work, but I'm going to leave it as-is and enjoy shooting this classic police piece.
