Great pistol easy to use, clean and very accurate.

Like the gun, simple mechanicals, very reliable. One minor complaint. I had to purchase an after market "Extended Width" slide stop to facilitate disassembly. Glock would be wise to make this very economical improvement. Other than that, it's fun, it's loud, it's hungry for the next loaded clip.

My first Glock 17. I bought this pistol after shooting a friend's Glock 19 gen 5. This 17 is a gen 5. This pistol has a great trigger for a striker-fired pistol. The trigger has a rolling break then release. Don't know what the trigger pull weight is, but it is HIGHLY shootable. Recoil is very manageable with the two-spring recoil system it has. I got the night sight version being I was going to put them on the pistol anyway. I am really satisfied with this Glock!!
I ordered this pistol during the Christmas rush. Shipping was just slightly slower than what I have experienced with Bud's before. They sent an email apologizing for the delay. No worries. Got the pistol and it was in great shape. Will order from Bud's again. Satisfied customer with product and retailer.

What can I say, it's a Glock. People either love them or hate them. It shoots great. The night sights are not super bright, but they are easy to pick up. I thought the back straps were interchangeable, but they are just add ons. I have pretty big hands & just the normal grip was large enough for me. As always great service from Buds.

Great gun to have. Exactly what you expect from a glock

This is my first Glock product. All other pistols I own are S&W made. I was a little skeptical of Glock because so many people talk them up and I didn't want to just jump on the bandwagon because of it. I can honestly say that this was a GREAT purchase. It shoots great, and the price was competitive vs other online sellers. I got a houge grip for the stock which makes it even nicer. Would highly recommend Glock and Buds did a great good selling it. Sweet gun sweet price.

I am a gun enthusiast. I am a Glock fan. I love my glock 22. Its the same gun as this one but in .40 S&W. I have wanted a Glock 17 for a while. So I found this Gen 5 with Night Sights on Buds, priced at about what they cost elsewhere without night sights. The Gun is a Glock. I never really minded the finger grooves, i kind of miss them actually. I think the additional beaver tail grips are cool, and helps if you have experienced "glock bite" the finish looks a little more black then the teflon pan finish of old. The new barrell, I'm not really sure if its a marketing ploy or what....I shot consistent groups at the range. Maybe I'm not good enough to tell the difference. Overall I am very happy with the purchase, the price, and the pistol! EBS

What can I say? It does the job, is durable and light-weight, and is exactly what I need for work. If you don't have a Glock, make this your first choice.

I have no negatives for this Glock 17 Gen 5. It is better than advertised! The new grip, minus the finger grooves, is an absolute improvement. Also, the new barrel, is another improvement. this gun is extremely accurate. the flared magazine well, makes it easier to drop your magazine. In a pressure situation this is a big positive. I have a new Glock 26 Gen 5, and a new Glock 19 Gen 5. They are all amazing. I own Sig Sauers, Colts. Heckler and Kochs, and many more. They are all very good guns. These Gen 5 Blocks, are right up there with the best! This is a definite buy!!!

I can't complain about the Glock, in fact I like the Gen 5 changes. The gun functioned flawlessly and seemed accurate. I use the term "seemed" because I cannot do well with polymer pistols. I sold this gun and bought a Sig 1911 in .357 Sig and with that gun I can cut ragged holes out to 15 yards. If you like Glocks and plastic guns I'm sure you'll enjoy this rendition!
