Wow. I couldn't be more pleased.
As far as the appearance is concerned, mine looks almost exactly like the one in the picture: bluing is worn off in the expected areas, it has a couple of very minor scratches, and a couple of very minor (and I mean tiny) nicks. It came with the original S&W grips in pretty good shape, and not even the slightest hint of surface rust.
The bore and cylinder are clean and smooth, the timing is perfect, the action and trigger like butter.
Today I took it out to the range - I'd never fired a Model 10, or any revolver quite this nice. I am only a very rare and occasional shooter, so suffice it to say my accuracy with this gun is better than with any handgun I own. It felt perfectly natural, and I learned that I, too, can hit the red circle in the center.
Based on my experience, if you are consider this even a just a little bit, BUY ONE, it is a STEAL!!!
