I received this M10 in the crappy box, as mentioned in many other reviews, with part of it sticking through the cardboard. At first, I was apprehensive when opening it and then there was the cosmolene and the ill fitting Tapco Magazine.
Well, I took it apart, cleaned all the cosmolene off, shaved the mag a bit by forcing it up and in...it finally went in.
I took it out and shot it and was truly amazed how well it worked. Very nice trigger, very nice sights, except for the small butt stock, it handled fine and functioned perfectly.
The very first mag full found me shooting a 14 inch diameter rock at just over a 100 yards on the hillside. I could see the rock dust flying every time I hit it! Never touched the sights...that was right out of the box. Going up the hill to inspect the rock, I found it had been hit multiple times and the fresh, dry, rock dust was deposited all over the wet soil. Close enough for govt. work I've been so pleased with this gun, I bought another for my son.
Buds, as always, came through again!
