Phoenix Arms HP22 .22LR Black Finish, Black Grips [HP22ABB]

I was very surprised by this cheap weapon. I bought it with the intention of using it as a range toy. I was not sure that it would even fit that role. I got it in two days ago, cleaned all the packing oil out of it, properly lubed it, and took it to the range. 150 rounds of Federal 550 bulk pack copper hollow points fired with no issue at all.
I took the weapon apart when I got home and did not notice any unusual wear in the slide or frame, but I did notice that the hammer already had a dimple in it where it hits the firing pin. It looks like the hammer may have a limited life on it, but with their life warranty it should not be an issue.
It's a fun little gun and shoots pretty straight. Check youtube for ways to make the safety systems more tolerable, and you will be a lot happier with it. Also make sure to fill out the warranty card and send it into Phoenix. Remember this is not a Beretta or Glock and will most likely need servicing eventually.
