I purchased my Steyr M9A1 6 months ago, and after many trips to the range and many hundreds of rounds through it I am in love. The Steyr is simply the most comfortable handgun I have ever shot. The grip angle is perfect, and makes the gun feel like an extension of my arm. If I point with my first finger(at my natural pointing angle) while holding the gun, the barrel is parallel to my finger, and makes for instant acquisition of targets before using the sights. I thought that the trapezoidal sights would take more getting used to, but my first shot out of the gun was 2" off the bullseye at 15 yards. One of the features of the gun that is really nice is the low bore axis, which does seem to help muzzle flip and perceived recoil when compared to a XD or glock. The only issue I have had with the gun were that it was a bit picky with ammunition for the first 200 rounds or so, and would get FTEs with Federal. To date I have put about 1000 rounds through it with ammo from a variety of manufacturers, and have had no further issues beyond the first couple hundred rounds. Bud's description mentions 14round mags, but mine came with 2 17 round mags. Ordering from Bud's was amazingly fast, I ordered on a Saturday and picked up the gun at my local dealer on Wednesday. I will definitely order from Bud's again.
