Love this pistol. It is a blast to shoot, and it is cheap to to shoot. I have about 600 rounds through the pistol, and it is so easy to handle, with recoil virtually non-existent, you could shoot it all day. CCI Mini-Mags and Federal Bulk run best through the pistol. The first double action pull is a little long and slightly gritty, but the single action pull is very light and crisp with a clean and relatively short reset. I have had no failures of any kind with the CCIs and maybe 2-3 failures to feed with the federal bulk ammo (out of 200-250 rounds of Federal). I don't recommend the Remington Thunderbolt ammo. I had several FTFs with the Remington and it fouls up the barrel pretty badly. I pulled enough lead out of the bore with the Thunderbolts to cast another bullet or two. In contrast, the Federal and CCI run VERY cleanly through it. The laser is an added plus, and it only costs an extra $60 from Buds. My eyesight and accuracy aren't very good with any gun, but I am perfect at 15 yards with this pistol because of the CT grips! The SR22 is a breeze to take down and reassemble, and to my surpise, it doesn't get very dirty after 200-300 rounds. I had thought .22LR would result in a much dirtier gun, but this hasn't been the case with the SR-22. It cleans up in about 10 minutes. I am so confident in my abilities with the pistol that I may even carry it occasionally. If you want a fun and reliable plinker or trainer, I highly recommend the SR22.
