only 2 full cylinders shot when it started to lock up. had to open and close to finish shooting. called the importer and company . NO RESPONSE. sold for a huge loss. JUNK . dont bother with this gun. Buds was awesome as usual.

A bit of a letdown. My example came with a bent rear sight blade. Mine also had several failure to fires in single action mode. In addition the single action trigger is crisp and short but heavy coming in at 6 pounds. Mine had a strange inclusion in the metal next to the forcing cone. On the plus side customer support is very good and the grip fits the hand like a glove. Not sure I would buy this again.

There is great demand for the Sarsilmaz SR38; it is very difficult to find this firearm anywhere in the United States...except Paris, Kentucky. In terms of quality and value, the SR38 ranks among the very best; thank-you Sarsilmaz and thank-you, Bud’s !

This revolver is solid. I shot 38 special and 357 magnum, 50 rounds total, off hand from 7 yards. Right out of the box the SR38 was dead on. Majority of my shoots, 60%, were within the "X" ring the rest except for 2 fliers were in the "9" ring. The double action trigger pull felt heavy but was smooth which I feel contributed to the accuracy. Also the the revolver is just plain heavy so the recoil of fairly hot PPU 357 magnum loads (M.V.~1300 f/s with 4 inch barrel) were fairly tame and easily managed to stay on target. This revolver may be a little too heavy for concealed carry but for home defense or a trail gun or hunting side-arm, I would think it would be right in it's niche. As always Buds Gun Shop service with delivery is second to none.
