Mosin Nagant M91/30 7.62x54R Laminated Stock Very Good Condition [RI660LV]
by NICOLAS B
Date Added: Monday 19 November, 2012
Don't waste your money.
I received a chop job franken stock. At some point there must have been a serious crack because a donor stock (non matching grain) was cut and 4 inches off the butt were replaced on mine. This really pissed me off, it's extremely apparent
Stock is super flakey, 50% of the shellac was gone.
water damage to the wood handguard cover, it's black and has a bit of mold. barrel has a light layer of rust throughout under side.
In all I will need to refinish the rifle completely, and right now i'm at $60 in materials to do that. I could have bought the bottom shelf mosin and dont the same thing saving money. Very good denotes free of major damage. A chopped up and glued stock is major damage, and if it was something that could only be found upon close inspection id understand. The shellac is a matter of storage, but it is still annoying.
rifling and blueing were in very good condition however. Shipping was quick.
