Last Man Standing DA-5 10 LB Bulk Exploding Target
[DA5-10LB]

This stuff is SO MUCH FUN!! A few things we learned about this product: 1- When using thye bulk bag, just pour the entire contents of the catalyst pouch into the bag and mix VERY well. Then use a plastic cup or similar device to measure from the bag into whatever containers you are going to use. 2- This stuff does not like moisture at all. We found that when we used old plastic juice containers as targets, just a few drops of liquid left in the bottom of the container would severely affect the size of the explosion. We also hollowed out spome watermellons and put this stuff in a baggy inside (cool, right?) and found the same issue: seriously diminished explosion due to moisture. 3- We measured in cups, not weight due to the lack of a scale at the range; we found that you need at least two cups to avoid the risk of fire. Our theory is that with only one cup the explosion isn't powerful enough to suck all the oxygen out of the surrounding area, or "blow itself out"o to speak. Either way, we had no issues with fire when we used a 2-cup minimum. 4- Hit it square. We had a couple instances were the target was "winged" and not all of the product reacted. 5- STAY THE HELL AWAY!!! We could feel the concusion in our chests at 100 yards. two and a half cups of this stuff sent a barbque lid 40 feet in the air. No way I would get closer than 100 yards. Further if I were setting off 4 cups or more. 6- Of course it goes without saying; Be respectful of your environment. This stuff is LOUD and potentially dangerous. If we all keep our cool and act responsibly, it won't get outlawed!
We used a DPMS REPR in .308 to make sure we had adequate velocity and energy. The manufacturer simply recommend a projectile that has a velocity of over 2,000 fps. So a handgun will not do it. As an extra perk, this stuff really helped slow the consumption of ammo (you know; one shot, one explosion - laugh like a lunatic - reset) All in all, this is a fantastic product. Highly recommended!!
