This is not my first Stag Arms rifle, and hopefully it won't be my last (political climate) because they are getting better at the AR game, and they were good to begin with.

The fit and finish is second to none - tight and as clean as a bank vault. The gas key is staked perfectly as well. Running the action by hand, it is much smoother than older Stag AR's I've handled, including the Model 2 in my safe. Also, the trigger seems about a lb lighter and a little crisper than previous rifles I've handled.

And for those folks who were worried that Stag may had/have gone down hill since they were forced to sell earlier in the year (White Wolf Capital), I can say with confidence this particular model is the best Stag I have ever ran across.

Bottom line - If you are looking for the BEST value in a very crowded AR/M4 market, look no further than a Stag with their 'Plus Package' - can't be beat. As a side, I wish Stag would produce a mid-length system, but I digress.....
