I took my new purchase to put some ammo down range to break in the trigger, slide, and inner components, and was very pleased with the performance of the Girsan 1911. The highly polished barrel and guide rod is a pleasure to clean. The accuracy was spot on! No ftf, failure to eject, or any other failures. The only problem that I found with the firearm is a stripped grip screw bushing that I can't find a replacement for to save the life of me! Nothing fits it. Not Colt, Citadel, Wilson, or any other make. And Girsan will not send me any information on a replacement part. Go figure! Other than that, I'm very pleased with the results and performance of this handgun.
