I bought this gun the MC1911s last Thursday before last and it was at the FFL on the following Monday. So that was fast. It arrived with a crushed box but the gun and all of the contents was unharmed. I have not contacted Buds about this, but It was not a deal breaker just a little disapointing so I received it. I have had it out 2 times for a total of about 250 ish rounds. So far it has had zero FTF FTE with the factory Mag and a Kimber Mag that I bought for it. So in short it has been perfect on it's handling of some kind of difficult ammunition. semi wad cutters and semi wad cutter conicals. I have not fed any ball ammunition through it. The nice surprise was the trigger, It is very, very crisp. It has about 1/6th of takeup then once you meet resistance it breaks clean, no grind or grit. I have not measured the trigger weight. but if I were to guess 5 to 4.5 pounds, I could be wrong. The finish is flat black and very smooth as in the picture. No flaws in the finish. The factory grips look like plastic but they are real walnut. It is just the finish on them that make them look that way. The barrel appears to be chromed and fits the bushing as nice as they say it does. The gun arrived almost completely void of any oil or preservatives and after oiling the slide it feels like it is on ball bearings smooth. I will give this gun a A on the trigger and it's ability to feed difficult ammo. Accuracy well I need to work on that personally but the gun appears to be better than me. I was able to get rapid fire group about the size of my fist at 25 yards but have not tried rested shots. I will keep it because it looks nice and handles well and seems to hit what
I am aiming at. Thank you Buds I am very happy.
