I bought this gun abut a year ago and wanted to give it some time before I wrote a review. Making modifications to your gun should be for fun not for making it functional. The latter is what I found my experience with this gun to be. The front blade sight on this was way too tall and it shot really low. Installing a lower sight helped some, but still needs a taller rear sight to get it accurate. The trigger bow was warped causing magazines to not drop freely. A new trigger fixed that problem. The left side of the frame rubs against the slide and left a shiny "bald spot" on the otherwise black slide. Way too much spent trying to make it functional. Should have just gotten an R1 or SR1911. Lesson learned. A least it goes bang at the range.
