I bought this rifle to compliment my Mosin. Shipping was a little slow but was caused by the supplier not shipping guns to Buds in a timely manner. The working mechanisms of this gun are in good working order but the stock is in poor shape. There are some soft spots where the wood is splintering up and some dry rot spots. If you decide to buy a type 53 do your research and pay a few extra dollars for one that you can see what it looks like. I would not buy one of these again unless I could see it first.
