I purchased this handgun from Bud's and recieve it in 3 days.Great service !! The slide and frame as well as the internals are cast with nice machining. Parkerized finish.Great frame to slide and barrel to bushing fit. Trigger creep but break is clean and crisp.Fires a bit low with fixed signts. An adjustable rear sight can be fitted into the dovetail but front sight is cast into slide and would require a dovetail be machined into it.It would be perfectly acceptable to leave as is but I have installed Hogue grips and will be installing an adjustable drop in trigger kit.The 1911-A1 purist/snobs that pay $1000.00 for theirs will probably look look down their noses at it but it is perfectly functional and a damn good 1911 for the price.
