I've been wanting a 1911 for awhile now, having carried one as a sidearm while in the service many years ago. I loved the "Government Issued" look of the Tisas, and along with the many positive reviews and certainly the price, I decided to take a chance and buy this gun. Although I've yet to shoot it, I am very pleased. Appearance wise, it is without flaw. There appear to have been no shortcuts in the manufacturing as everything looks and feels great; no rough edges, tooling marks,etc. No surprises field stripping the gun, either, everything looks high quality. Also what everyone is saying about this gun being tight is true. No slop or ill fitting pieces. I put some Pachmayr grips on mine and will probably upgrade the sights, but that is all that I think this gun needs. Bottom line is that I'm happy with this purchase and can't wait to take it out to shoot! BTW, Ordered online and picked up at Bud's, no problems as usual. Be Safe!
