First of, I don't know how they do it, but shipping stuff is super fast for BudsGunShop (I always heard about it, and it is true)...
The pistol came just the way it was advertised but sides on the handle were not Turkish Walnut, rather brown hard plastic. No problems, I contacted BudsGunShop, they are sending those to me for free. Good customer service... scratch that, "Super" customer service.
This 1911 (which also my first 1911) is very comfortable to shoot, very little recoil, trigger is just right. Single Action short pull. I shot around 50 bullets, only one jam, and I m not sure if it was me who didn't tap the magazine correctly, or magazine itself, It was the last bullet in the mag that was jammed.. Gun is very accurate, hit the bullets very close to each other, even I didn't shoot guns for a long time.
I ordered the extra magazine and holster deal from BudsGunShop, can't wait to receive those. I do have a holster right now, but seems like little large, even for a 5 inch 1911, hopefully new one will fix this problem... and I did need another magazine since my pistol came with one :)
Short story, do I recommend this gun? ... absolutely, 100%. Do I recommend BudsGunShop, well "Duh"!... of course I do, since they are the one who provided me the 1911 for under $400,,, with a very fast delivery and excellent customer services :)
