When my wife and I returned from a vacation, I picked up the Tisas Classic 1911 I got from Buds from my dealer. I was amazed to see the finish and fit was comparable to the commercial Pre-War 1911 and 1911A1 I own. As soon as I got home, I walked out back in -4 weather and put 2 clips of ammo through it without a hitch. Please note that this was without removing any of the oil that was in it for shipping. My gloveless hands were frozen, but the Tisas simply ignored the cold and the usual problems that so many pistols have before they are broken in. It was too cold to set out targets, but it appeared to be hitting the center of a snow bank with each shot. I highly recommend these pistols.
