Really nice gun, to add to my 1911 collection. Fit and finish very good, it appears that Taurus has come a long way from earlier years. I used to dislike Taurus because of the fit and finish. No more, they make the grade. Not up to Colt, Para, or Springfield quality, but close.
The only real negative is the plastic grips that were over torqued, but I added some wood grips and the gun looks great.
For the price, Para or Desert Eagle 1911 is a better gun.
Speaking as an engineer, this is my opinion alone.
