This is my 2nd purchase from buds and both have been very prompt. 3 days for my glock 20 |and 5 days including the weekend for this girsan. As for the gun... Fantastic. I was a little apprehensive about tge quality to price ratio. With guns the saying you get what you pay for is true. But somehow they are able to manufacture this 1911 to berry high quality standards and keep the price down... Child labor probably, just kidding. This Gun is very nice. I can shake it violently and not one rattle, very tight tolerances. The mag well area will need some work, the mag fits in very tight and will present a challenge for quick mag swaps but that pretty standard for productuon 1911. From my understanding this has no MIM parts but i don't know that for 100% fact, just read it on a review. The sights are black and the rear sight has to small of a recess. I will be getting a high viz front sight and widening the rear. The picture shows a 1911 with with black grips, mine came with wood grain, not a big deal, i already swaped them but i was a little suprised to see woodgrain. All around i am extremely pleased with this pistol. It feels a good as my kimber in my hand and radiates quality. This gun its a great deal, I think in another year or two Girsan will be better known than rock island and will be out selling them. I would really like to see what kind of 1911 Girsan could make att the 700$ price point. If this is what you get for 500$ then i would take a wild guess that a higher priced Girsan would be better than kimber. I think this Girsan i have is more aesthetically pleasing than my kimber and after th 1000 rounds I have planned for it next week I will be making a video review because thete are not many on YouTube. ... I am happy with this gun, thanks Buds.
