Purchased this rifle 12/19/16 and finally got to try it out last week. Highly impressed with it until the 13th shot out of the very first magazine I tried. Found myself with the rifle in one hand and the lever in the other: the lever (which I discovered is made of CAST METAL) had broken cleanly in two at the pivot hole. Now comes the hassle and time to get it repaired at Accokeek, MD. Although the repair looks to be very simple, the part seems to be unavailable anywhere. On the plus side, the accuracy, fit and finish of the gun are impeccable and the appearance draws a crowd it is soooo pretty. I just can't believe that such a critical part would be made of cast material. Getting it fixed and if satisfied it will be a keeper. Until then, two stars.

Purchased on 09/12/16. Chose to pay by money order to receive the cash discount price. Was at my FFL Dealer 2 weeks later.. I was very impressed with the beautiful chrome and satin wood stock. It's a beautiful rifle and seems extremely well-made. The wood is of excellent figure and grain, standing a bit above the metal of the gun, but not excessively. The action works smoothly and cycles .22 Long Rifle ammo nicely. I don't foresee an major problems with the rifle unless the fixed sights need to be replaced to bring it into alignment with the target, which is not insurmountable. There are no visible machining marks on any of the metal parts, and the finish is smooth and blemish-free.

Nice looking gun terribly dirty when received rear sight way too high had to file down no adjustments to make

Good accuracy. Ejection port too small. Cannot use bore snake to clean. Spend brass can sometime hit the ejection port and will not come out.

This rifle was as smooth as butter right out of the box. It shot to the point of aim at 25, 50, 75 feet. There were no feeding issues in the rifle was a real joy to shoot. This is my first Uberti lever action and it probably will not be my last.

Received the product FAST, thanks Buds! I thought the finish was messed up on mine until I realized that there was a thin layer of plastic on the receiver (like on a new cell phone), once I took that off it looked a thousands times better. Had some cycling issues on mine (jamming etc..) and sent it back to Uberti for repair. Thankfully I opted for Buds lifetime warranty (for like $15) and that covered the shipping. Just got it back from Uberti (fast turnaround) and took it to the range. It cycles like a champ now and I am very happy for the product. For repairs they listed: "modified extractor, adjusted carrier screw, function check, test fired 15 rounds Federal. No malfunctions"

Ordered on Monday, FFL Received it Thursday. That's Fast !!!! At First sight receiver LOOKED scratched BUT it was the Plastic Film on the receiver. Peeled it off in one pc ABSOLUTLY BEUTIFULL MIRROR FINISH.!!!! Cleaned up very easily...THANKS BUDS GUNSHOP !!!!! Fit finish is superb..VERY HAPPY

After receiving the rifle I brought it home and cleaned all the factory gunk off of the frame. Left side is just beautiful... right side not so much, some pitting underneath the ejection port, a few surface scratches and some discoloration or machining marks by the trigger guard also some whitening on the upper edges. Guess I will have to lick my wounds on this one...Lesson learned... clean the gunk off at the FFL, and save yourself the heartache.

My first rifle ever was a Browning BL22 Grade II I received as a 12yr old boy in the 80's. After countless $5 bricks of .22 shells and thousands of jack rabbits harvested, I finally flat wore that little rifle out in the 90's. I have been wanting another one ever since, but have balked at the steep price tag for a rifle that seems a little small for a now grown 6'2" man. Saw that Bud's was selling the Uberti Silver Boy rifles for $319 when normal retail was nearly $500 and did some quick online research and ordered one. It arrived within a week and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. Grain of the wood stock was above average and fit and finish is above average. Trigger pull is amazingly light and crisp and the rifle fits me perfectly. Have not been to the range yet, but just by working the action and inspecting the workmanship, I am a very happy camper.

Nice quality rifle. I can't wait to shoot it. Only complaint would be that the rear sight has no vertical adjustment. We will see if I can sight it in or not.
