I bought this pistol some time ago not knowing anything about Turkish-made firearms. To my surprise, the Tisas Classic 1911 .45 I a tight solid built pistol. I have put around 500 rounds through it with no problems. For less than $400, it can’t be beat.

Very happy with this purchase and the quality of the firearm. It was my first 1911 and I am glad to have it.

Solid pistol. Heavy but that's what I was looking for at this price point. It's stable. I've put maybe 1000 rounds through it and have only had a couple F2F, which is probably too many if you are relying on this for home protection or have the stones to use this 1911 as your carry gun. I also have a buddy that works for Federal so most of the rounds have been fatory seconds, which definitely makes a difference. When I shoot the spendy stuff it has no problems. All that said, I'm very happy with this .45

This is one of the best vanilla 1911's in my collection. The fit/finish is great. I've tried a number of different magazines and all functioned flawlessly. My particular pistol doesn't like Blazer Brass. It has trouble grabbing the case for extraction. I think this is a Blazer problem and not a pistol problem. It eats many other types of ball ammo just fine. I've already recommended this pistol to others.

The first pistol I was assigned in the US Army was the Colt 1911. Mine had been to war and back a few times but you could drop that gun in the dirt and still qualify expert marksman with it. Eventually, they took the 1911 away from me and gave me an 9mm M9. I’ve been missing my 1911 since then...until now. The Tisas 1911 is really a nice firearm and when the cost is brought into the valuation there is little to find fault with this fine gun. The action is smooth but tight and the trigger and sights are exactly like expected on a G.I. model. It’s build quality is just amazing and fit and finish are pretty good. If you are considering purchasing a full size, full caliber 1911, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Tisas from Buds.

This is the second one I have purchased. I originally bought the first as a knock-around gun that I wasn't going to have much invested in. After shooting it for a while, I came to really like it. When my son decided that he wanted to start shooting it, I figured it was time to get another.

My first Tisas. I am a 1911 nut so I know something about them. This Tisas is well made and pretty accurate at 10yds. Trigger pull is good out of the box. I would recommend Tisas as a fine entry level 1911.

Quick review of this bargain pistol. First off, I like it--extremely well built 1911, great fit, finish will get wear after range time--or just admire it in the house. Not me I am in the first stage of breaking it in shooting in the back yard at a pie plate-size target, 15 yards all over it--after I compensated for the low and left shots...probably just poor mechanics. Slapped on the Ed Brown two-piece guide rod, easy and cheap from Brownell, and added that Hogue grip with the finger grooves. Shot another 7 rounds of Hornady 185 grain XTP and they were 4 inch group at 15 yards, one FTF on the last round, I was using a brand new Colt mag. Overall, this is a great gun just have in your collection, also like the ATI 1911 GI45--for the price both are a steal and a lifetime warranty from Buds on Tisas!

After cleaning put about 75 rounds thru it. Performed flawlessly. Extremely accurate and kick is not bad at all. I am very happy with the looks, feel and performance. Buds did all they said. I have always been satisfied with them. I don't worry when I order from them. This 45 is a really good buy.

Second,this is my second Tisa and it didnt disappoint at all.Took it to the range and fired 200 rds through it and it performed flawlessly, no FTE or FTF's. The plastic grips are ok but i replaced them with Hogue rubber grips which helped with handling. All in all Excellent weapon that i would depend upon with my life.

Buds shipping and pricing was amazing. I was lucky enough to be selected for the Black Friday special on the Tisas 1911A1 with plastic grips for $199.00. I had been wanting a 1911 for quite some time but couldn't justify spending over $500 to get one. I was a little leery at first, never having heard of Tisas before. Once the payment cleared and the gun shipped it showed up to my FFL very quickly and in flawless condition. I gladly accepted the transfer and the next weekend headed to the range with a mix of steel and brass cased FMJ to go through the "break in" period. 250 rounds later and not a single hiccup. I have since put 500 more down the pipe without a single problem. No failures of ANY kind. Of course I did have to clean all the grease and gunk out before the first session but it has always been my practice to do a thorough cleaning an any new gun. In conclusion, this amazing full size 1911 is a bargain and twice the price, and I will be getting the same gun in 9mm to let my wife shoot since she likes the 1911 style but .45 ACP is a bit too snappy for her petite hands. Overall I could not be happier with this purchase and I have recommended Buds and Tisas to several of my shooting buddies, all who have likewise been impressed by this sweet shooting budget friendly firearms legend.

Made and offer of 335 dollars and it was accepted. Nice 1911 for the price. I fired 100 rds through it with no mishaps. Very accurate at 25 feet and that is as far as I shoot a pistol. I own 4 other 1911's and this one definitely holds it's ground.

Like many other people, I was very impressed by this entry-level 1911. The fit is tight with zero frame rattle out of the box. The simple finish is perfect with no blemishes, and the machining is perfect. The brown plastic grips seem durable but detract from the overall appearance, but I intentionally purchased them as I already had a aftermarket pair to install, which fit perfectly using the Tisas grip screws. Like my Zigana 9mm, the screws on this firearm were aligned with each other reflecting care during assembly. And again like my other Tisas, it arrived very clean and very dry with a hard case, nylon bore brush, plastic cleaning rod, and bound-edge cleaning cloth. If you are looking for an entry level to mid-range 1911 make and offer and take one of these home, you won't be sorry.

a 1911 for $350. I have brought four weapons from Bud's in the last five months a mossberg 22 rifle, Del-ton sport AR15, N Pap AK47 all for under $1600. and will be making another purchase for a shotgun soon, received all of them within four to five days, I will not buy from no other dealer but Bud's, where I get the best bang for my bucks.I love em!

This is an excellent firearm for the money. Fit and finish is on par with much more expensive firearms I've owned, and fired. The trigger, and operation is what you would expect of an entry level 1911. The weapon is fluid and smooth, but is not on par to be an out of the box race gun or competition pistol. Despite its lacking of cosmetic features seen in much more expensive 1911 platforms, the Tisas's consistency, reliability, and accuracy are very desirable. With the ability to be modded with standard 1911 parts, any shooter should be able to put together a weapon that suits them. The gun has functioned flawlessly running winchester, federal, and fiocchi ammunition in both FMJ and JHP offerings.

A 1911 at $350 that shoots this well out of the box is amazing. No FTF with standard ball ammo and shot 200 rounds! Would recommend this weapon to anyone wanting an inexpensive 1911.

Awesome firearm. This is my first purchase with buds guns and definitely wont be the last. I was looking for a 1911 i can afford as a Christmas gift for my hard work and i found the Tisas 1911. I did a little research and a guy named hickock45 help sell it to me. Ordered the gun on friday my ffl received it by Tuesday, fast and awesome service, awesome pistol a must have for those in my position. Thanks buds for my new favorite. Shot maybe 100 rounds with slim to any problems.

Guy's I just tried out my new Tisas that I was lucky enough to get for $199.00 thanks for being picked over the weekend. If anyone has had doubts about this firearm you are wasting your time. great firearm I am grateful for Bud's they shipped it fast and I got it fast. Bought it Mon. night I picked it up at my FFL today. Once again can't say enough about I would give the firearm a ten. THANKS GUYS

This is a great 1911 out of the box first day I got it took it to the range and run 200 rounds through it ranging from cheap factory loads to custom reloads not a single miss fire since the ive run another few hundred rounds through it. And ive also put wilson combat hammer, sear, trigger, spring kit, and beaver tail in it I let a friend shoot it who has a a couple higher end 1911s since the upgrades and says it shoots better then his 1911s that cost 2 to 3 times as much great product and a great platform for upgrading with the price of the gun and parts installed still only have 525 dollars invested love it and shipping was fast and easy
