Recently purchased this Colt SAA clone from Buds. So glad I did. I haven't handled a Smokewagon or Evil Roy version of this revolver, but the El Patron is a nicely slicked-up piece of hardware. I doubt that there is that much difference between the three models, just that you're only paying $100 for an Italian gunsmith to do the action job on an El Patron vs. $200 for an American gunsmith to do the same on a Smokewagon or Evil Roy version.

I can't say enough about the positive experience of buying from Buds. The prices are unbeatable and the huge list of FFL dealers makes getting the firearm to you very painless. I just purchased another CAS firearm from Buds and expect the experience to be just as smooth and fast.
