This is my first experience of buying a gun online so I was a little apprehensive to say the least. Expecially buying a firearm sight unseen except pictures and some of Tony P.s video reviews. I knewe I wanted a 1911 .45 and could not afford the big name brands right now. Tisas are not stocked in any of my local gs so I had to go by the reviews I found online. Well, once I laid eyes on the gun I was very relieved. The Tisas is beautiful. There was not a blemish on the finish and the fit of rail to frame was tight. No rattle or wiggle. I finally got to the range today to see how it would shoot. I was mildly surprised again. At 7 and 10 yards the gun shot right to the bullseye. Recoil was mild compared to my M&P Shield and I could shoot it much more accurately. It only came with one mec-gar magazine but I have 5 springfield armory 7 rounders and one ProMag ten round extended mag. that I took with to try in the gun. Four of the five sa mags would get stuck after the last round and I had to pry and pull the mag out of the magwell. A couiple would not lock the slide back on final round fired. The big ProMag ran like a champ. The megar that come with the Tisas went 100 rounds before it started to hard to eject and a couple times the slide would not lock back. Only one of the sa mags and the ProMag ran without problems. I am going to buy a wilson combat elite and see what that will do. Wilson combat website list Tisas as a gun that will run their mags. Hopefully that will cure the problem. I fired over 200 rounds of various brands, fmj and hollowpoints and no feeding problems with any of them except for the junk mags messing up. From what I can tell this is one heluve gun for the price and I am figuring to carry it concealed. All things considered I had a blast at the range today. I am very satisfied with the gun and with Bud's customer service. Any question that I had was courteously and professionaly handled on the spot.
