Purchased this just looking for an inexpensive 1911. If that\'s what you are in search for, then it\'s probably a good buy. However, I found that after I received the gun; bought grips that allow for a good recoil purchase; had a very necessary trigger job performed; and installed a S&A mag well, I would have spent about the same money on the same gun from another manufacturer for the same money. My after thoughts are that if you are not picky about the trigger ort grips, and plan to use this firearms as a nightstand gun, it\'s great. Otherwise give a Rock Island Armory, or a Ruger a good look. Buds carries both at a very competitive price. I should have purchased one of the two later for my intentions.
