My wife loves it, and I really don't mind it either. It's a good little shooter.

I am a female beginner with small hands, so this little gun is perfect. It fits my hands so much better than the bigger, heavier guns. The "feel" is so important when you're getting comfortable shooting a weapon for the first time. Also, there's NOT much kickback ("recoil"), AT ALL. The gun is very light and easy to aim. I wanted something that will give me some defense but won't feel like I'm carrying or shooting from a tank. In fact, I went to my very first Concealed Carry class--last night~! The lady next to me COULD NOT hit the target with a heavier gun. She was so discouraged. The instructor even brought out the LASER thing to help her aim, but it didn't help. I'm not sure what was going on, but I asked the instructor if she could use my SR22 (true story, I promise) and guess what? She started hitting the target, right away, and she got her confidence back. (She still failed the class, though. Sorry. The SR22 couldn't un-do her first 30 misses with the other gun.) I actually think Ruger should contact me and pay me for this Review, actually. But I'll just be grateful they made a gun that feels good in small, beginner hands. I know it's only a 22, but I really like this weapon as my first gun. And I bought the raspberry frame--so it looks awesome!! (For anyone wondering, the color in the photo is truly the color in real life. It's a little bit more grape-y than T-Mobile magenta, but it's not purple, thank goodness.) I bough this gun for my wife (bought the pink version). I took it to the range today and I'm very impressed with how easy and precise is this gun. It is perfect for training and you don't need expensive ammo. I shot 500 rounds using bullets by Remington, CCI and Federal. There was 0 failure or jam. Excellent gun! Will buy another one for my 10 year son.

This is a great shooter. Bought the gun for my wife after she shot a friends. Put 300 rounds of CCI mini-mags through it and all cycled flawlessly. Liked this gun so much that I am purchasing one for myself. You can't go wrong with this little gym. It will put a smile on your face.

Great looking pistol. Wanted something to teach new shooters with. So far, no issues with it.

The gun looks and feels great. I shot it the afternoon we got it and it was spot on target. It is light weight, and easy to hold. The grips are perfect. The ordering, shipping and arrival process with Buds was excellent. I could not ask for a better experience to be more satisfied with my gun. I cannot wait for more time to to shoot it!
