Upon taking the rifle from the box it appeared to be well made. Though this was called a "cosmetic blemish," whatever the blemish is I am not sure. The safety lever was slightly a different color...maybe that was it. Putting a red dot optic on it and using cheap mags I tested it. After sighting it in it consistently shot on target. I was only able to test it out to about 70 yards, but it was accurate. The trigger was fine...nothing to get all excited about...but certainly acceptable. The rifle functioned fine and was a pleasure to shoot.
