I am extremely happy with my Hi Power from Bud's. This is my second trade-in/surplus purchase and I was pleasantly surprised again, this time with an '87 dated HP with a mix of MkII and MkIII features but all stamped matching . The finish is definitely worn; there are some spots where it has worn through the epoxy type finish to the bluing/parkerizing underneath mostly in the grip area as well as some bare spots on the slide edges and hi spots such as the rounded side of the slide stop "pin". It was a duty gun and definitely shows holster wear although I think "Fair" condition was playing it safe. There was no rust even though the gun arrived bone dry. All of the internals were clean and judging by the wear on the frame rails and internal surfaces it was not shot a whole lot. The mag was of the Mec Gar 15rd variety and stamped "Kareen" on the floorplate (which also had some yellow tape residue). Overall I am very happy and may buy another before they are all dried up again.
