Love this gun !! I'm 74 years old and not as strong as when I was 23. Cocking the gun was easy after I fashioned simple cocking aid. A dowel rod handle 12" of para cord tied to each end of handle. Loop paracord on cocking handle and easy cocking. Gun is beautiful, accurate. Buds is always great.

1927A1 Tommy Gun! I have been wanting one of these over 40 years. Buds made it happen! Every part of this purchase was excellent and easy! Firearm is outstanding! Now just need to get my wife to agree to a few more purchases. Buds is great!

I have not shot this gun because it is just to pretty to take a chance of scratching it.

Really Awesome gun!! Love it !! It’s big and heavy just like the full auto version, but that’s how they made ‘em. It’s very cool to shoot it and everyone at the range wants to try it. Good price. Fast Shipping.

I finally got around to purchasing one of these semi auto thompsons. In as much as the bbl is 6 inches longer than the SBR version, it still gives you the gangster like look and feel. Fit and function were good, although I did have trouble with the magazine latch sticking, I solved the problem with a couple of taps with a plastic hammer , as it appeared that it was not all the way flush with the receiver. The rear hand grip was loose, but a few turns with the screwdriver fixed that. Of course with the two recoil springs, it is a bear working the bolt, but I'm sure it will become somewhat easier with use. All in all, I'm satisfied with this purchase. What can I say about Buds, they're the best.

Great service from Buds delivery to my FFL dealer was in a few days and Buds had my preferred dealer in their data base my Tommy gun was in beautiful condition no dents missing parts etc much to the credit of their shipping dept also was delighted to have this rifle come with a 30 round magazine would suggest you purchase the lifetime warranty as this is an expensive gun. I had also looked to purchase additional mags and Buds was the cheepest around I have been a Buds customer for years and have not been disappointed with any of my purchases Way To Go Buds

I purchased this item last fall after years of hesitating... I was happy to find out that everything was finished nicely and it ran well with my .45 reloads. Based on my internet research, it seems that Kahr has made some welcome changes to the Auto Ordinance design/quality. The gun is plenty accurate for a pistol-caliber carbine (limited only by the .45ACP cartridge), although it can be difficult to hold for some shooters due to its weight. I should also note that the gun will be difficult, if not impossible, for smaller/weaker shooters to operate due to the EXTREMELY heavy recoil springs (yes, there are two). The stiff operation is a result of the weapon design and not a result of poor quality fit/finish. I have run several hundred reloads through my 1927A1 using two different 30-round stick mags and a 10-round drum (Ohio limits capacity to 31), with very few issues. The extractor was very tight in the beginning, which can prevent the extractor claw from "jumping" the case rim while chambering, but that seems to be much better after 100-200 rounds. I have had a few issues with cheap factory ammo, but it appears to be due to very soft primers that the Thompson hammer/pin destroys, causing the case to stick in the bolt and not eject properly. I have no doubt that the weapon will fire reliably with proper ammunition. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase since there is nothing else like it out there... And the 13.5 pounds of walnut and steel should last a lifetime with proper maintenance.

Awesome rifle would highly recommend this gun to anyone. It is a little on the heavy side but don't be a pansy. The gun is very well built and very tight at first until you put a couple 100 rounds through it. Buds was excellent as always even on my 6th gun purchase they never let you down.

Fantastic and unbelievable weapon. You make all kinds of "can I fire your gun" friends on the range. It's everything I expected and just firing this piece of machinery makes you feel like you were back in the 1920's.
