I already own a XD9 sub compact but wanted a 45, too. My XD 9 has been flawlessly reliable so I decided to get this one. It is very accurately described as a COMPACT as opposed to a SUB COMPACT. The grip is slighly longer than on the SC and of course the barrel has an additional inch of length. It is still concealable, particularly with the flush fitting mag. It also fits the Galco Matrix holster I already own for the SC with the barrel sticking out the underside of the holster which is nice so I can use the same on both. This will be an excellent addition to my collection.

Order processing took a wee bit longer than I would have liked but stayed within specified time frames.
