Remington 770 SPT BOLT 308 W/SCOPE
by ANTHONY A Date Added: Thursday 09 May, 2013
I bought two of these model 770. in .308 although I intended to buy one .308 and one .30-06 (my mistake) I thought Remington, wow!. I looked around my area to see if any dealers carried them, they didn't. So I bought a "Pig in a poke." When they arrived I saw how cheaply they were made. The bolt is sloppy. The scope is made in china. The trigger and bolt release are stamped sheet metal. The whole weapon rattles when carried. The price certainly reflects the quality of the rifles. I wish I had stayed with Ruger's American Rifle. All I can say to Remington is: Shame on you!
