I didn't need a Taurus Judge, I wanted a Taurus Judge! This firearm arrived as described on the Buds web page. Fit, finish, and the bluing are great. In fact, the bluing is very dark, almost looks black, and rich looking. I was surprised how the recoil was not as bad as I thought it would be from a 3 inch .410 bore magnum shotgun shell. The .45 Long Colt seemed like less recoil than the .410. So far the gun shoots better than me! As always, practice makes perfect. The Taurus "Ribber" grips are very nice. They are comfortable and seem to do a great job of reducing felt recoil. Overall I am very pleased with the Taurus Judge and look forward to more time at the range with it. I know this is not a target revolver and has a narrow use for close-up defense and being a good trail gun. I'm okay with the Judge playing that role and I think it plays it very well. As always, Buds was great to deal with. I was sent emails updating me on the process, was sent a tracking number, and it only took a few days for the Judge to arrive in Nebraska. What can I say about the price? Try to find this Judge for less anywhere else and with the same level of customer service that Buds provides. I don't think one can find the same deal. Another compliment needs to go out to the FFL Buds has for my area, SSA Enterprises. Very professional and a nice guy who doesn't charge an arm and a leg for a transfer. Overall, another very positive transaction for a firearm through Buds for a great quality Taurus Judge.
I forgot to mention, Taurus has a lifetime warranty for all their firearms that follows the firearm, not the owner. I own five other Taurus pistols/revolvers and have never had a problem with any of them. I call that type of warranty piece of mind for the owner.
