I was skeptical when I first saw how many sky high reviews there were for such an economically priced shotgun, but decided that it must be for a good reason... Let's just say that I am no longer a skeptic! This 12 ga. pump is as basic as it gets, which as far as shotguns are concerned, is a great thing - it does exactly what it's meant to do, and it does it well. I've gone through about 500 slugs so far without any malfunctions whatsoever, this puppy cycles like a dream. I'm not a big fan of the classic bead sight simply because of the challenges they present to smooth target acquisition, but even so, when lined up correctly you will hit your target exactly where you intend to. The only modification that I've made was to swap out the stock recoil butt pad for a $20 aftermarket one, and now I can shoot as many rounds as I wish without having to worry about any after the fact shoulder pain. This is a fantastic shotgun and a refreshing example of times when you get a heck of a lot more than what you paid for.
