I Love the Springfield XD pistols! There flawless in design and function. I have the XD 9 Sub Compact and it was right on target out of the box. I can now say the same thing for this XD 45. With the heavy long recoil spring. Makes this 45 recoil more like a 9mm. I can't recommend the XD line of pistols more. There affordable for the quality that you get right out of the box. As always Bud's delivers on there service as well I am very happy with Bud's and Springfield Armory's XD line of pistols!

EXCELLENT pistol. I shoot it out to 50 yards with my cast bullets. It is very, very accurate. Easy to break down and clean. Excellent trigger--once you get used to it. If you're expecting a 1911-style trigger, you'll be disappointed until you get used to this trigger. Cycles my reloads very well. Any malfunctions have been due to the ammo, not the pistol. It's too big for true concealed carry, but if you get a good holster you'll find you carry this pistol a lot because you'll trust it so much. At least that's the way I feel. It's a good price for what you get. An accurate pistol that will cycle your ammo and put your rounds on target if you can do your part.

Bought this as my first handgun and am very pleased. Bud's was a real breeze to deal with and I got my gun in 3 days. When I told my local dealer what I was paying he said he didn'y know how Bud's stayed in business. I sure hope they do because I will defintitly use them again. This is the place to buy from if you are looking for a good gun for a great price.

If you have never owned a Springfield firearm, you will be pleasantly surprised when you put one in your hands and fire it. This pistol is dead on accurate at 25 yards. The ergonomics are excellent. Fit and finish are excellent. The safety features on this pistol do not get in the way of the shooter. Easy to shoot, carry and clean. You cannot go wrong with this pistol !! Do your research, then buy from Buds !!

***UPDATE*** I recently sold mine to my cousin and now I am really missing it! I know I said it was a keeper, and it is, but I thought I needed the money more than the gun......I WAS WRONG! I will be buying another one very soon, but I think I will get the 4" COMP instead of the 5". I still have EIGHT 13-round mags for this gun that my cousin didn't want!!!! GREAT GUN! Don't ever sell it if you get one because you WILL miss it very much.

My third Springfield XD-45. My other two have thousands of rounds through both and not one issue. One even snagged and was yanked out of my holster falling 7' onto concrete (holster is now replaced). I watched it bounce and never could find any marring where it landed. Looks new, shoots amazing.

What a fantastic gun!!! I put about 50 rounds through it a few days ago and it performed FLAWLESSLY!!! I highly reccomend the XD45. It's a definite keeper!

After 23 years in the military, I never thought I'd find a pistol I liked better than the 1911A1. Wrong! This is the best 45ACP semi-automatic pistol I ever handled. Functionally flawless. After putting over 2,000+ rounds through it without a single hiccup, all hitting with suprising accuracy for an unmodified factory pistol, I am a believer. And you get thirteen and one vs 7 and 1 ! Who could ask for better than that?
