1st of all Excellent service from Buds, communication was 1st rate, I received emails when my payment was received as well as when my pistol was shipped w/ tracking info. OK, this pistol is a freakin' tack driver! I just returned from the range firing 550 rounds of different ammo from several manufacturers, including the Cheap Russian Tul 230 gr Ammo, PMC 230 gr Brass Ammo & Federal 230 gr ammo. This bad boy ate through every single round w/ out 1 misfire, failure to feed, failure to eject or any malfunction of any sort! By the 300th round I was like " Umm this is the most reliable .45 I have ever shot!". I own a Glock full size .45 & a Ruger P90 .45 which both are extremely reliable especially my Glock, but a day at the range usually includes 1 or 2 FTF's or FTE's or stove pipes, but this Springer did not have one!! I could have shot 1000 rounds & I think it still would have been eating up the ammo. Super tight gun, slide to frame is very tight w/ no rattles at all, extremely accurate pistol 2" groups at 10 yards. This defintely will not be my last Springfield. I plan on purchasing many firearms from Buds, as their prices can't be beat & they ship super fast!! If you are looking for an upper end .45 buy the Lightweight Operator! This is my new favorite gun & can't wait to get back to the rang! WELL DONE SPRINGFIELD!
