I weighed mine and found it to be lighter than specidied at 8 lbs 3 oz. It feels a bit beefier than my last over under, a Beretta White Onyx. I expecially like the non-automatic safety for skeet, one less thing to remember. The wood is decent, with just a little etching for eye appeal. I've sent it to Briley for subgauge tubes installation. It should be just about perfect at about 9 pounds for four or five gun competition. I've tried it at trap too and it does just fine. If I want to later, the adjustable comb may come in handy, another reason I picked it. The elevated rib is a bit higher than a standard skeet gun but not as exacerated as many trap guns. The level comb allows a better cheek weld than a more severe drop at heel field model. One minor surprise, the action opens more easily than a new Beretta model, but seem to lock up soundly. The forend takes a little getting used to, the small plunger has to be exactly aligned to install. I didn't find the finish to be particularly tarnish resistant. When I missed a finger print, it left a permanent smug on the sliver. Many good features I didn't cover including the fiber optic sights, adjustable trigger position, and replaceable triggers, all at no extra charge.
