Springfield Armory 7 + 1 Service Lightweight Two Tone 45 ACP [PX9104LP]
$758.00
by Stephen E
Date Added: Tuesday 04 October, 2011
The last time I do business with anyone for a Springfield Armory firearm! I traded Bud's a SA SS Champion that I had purchased from them not quite two months previously, it arrived with a ten pound trigger pull, I was definitely not satisfied, so I traded it back to them on the SA Service Lightweight. I just had the chance today to really look over the new pistol, I noticed that the right grip was jiggling about around the bottom right grip screw. Upon closer inspection it became apparent that the insert for the screw was completely loose of it's set in the frame, further the grip screw itself was still very very firmly attached, the metric tip compltely stripped!
Thus I am very very angry as someone clearly went to work on this thing previous to my purchase, if it was SA it's a disgrace that the factory would ship such an obvious defect to market. I promise you I'll not ever buy another SA pistol, ever!!!! Two SA dogs in a row, not 12 weeks apart is exactly why I have been until this year, shy about this kind of gun transaction, sight unseen over the internet!
