Wow. Just wow! What a great CC pistol. Received at my FFL 4 days after purchase (thanks Buds!). 200 rounds of Federal 40 S&W 180-grain FMJ for the break-in, and I'm stunned! 1.5 to 2" groups at 15 yards, and consistently hit a 6" steel target 4 of 6 times at 30 yards (more shooter error than weapon accuracy in my opinion, as the missed shots were VERY close to target). I've never shot a 3" barrel with better results; this pistol is accurate!
I experienced 4 or 5 fail-to-feeds with the 6-rd extended magazine, likely due to the pressure on the mag from my pinky finger. No problems with the 5-rd magazine though. Also, while back home and disassembling for cleaning I noticed a piece of the recoil spring assembly missing (apparently unscrewed itself at the gun range and came off). Issue was quickly resolved with a call to Kahr's repair division; they immediately shipped a new assembly free-of-charge.
On a side note, this pistol kicks pretty hard. Not surprising for a gun of it's size, just be aware that it packs a punch on recoil. The slide requires a good bit of effort to rack, it's pretty tight (the gun is for my wife and she struggles with it, and not easily done by myself either). Also, the trigger pull is fairly long and cumbersome, in my opinion. It took several magazines before I got a good feel for it, but did encounter some frustration while finding the sweet spot. That's my only complaint, I think Kahr could've done better on the trigger. In summary, I'm completely satisfied with this pistol and would highly recommend. Hat's off to Buds for another great transaction on another great gun!!!
