I just purchased this 590 last week, it's a decent shotgun, though it came to me with the magazine tube covered in rust! I was surprised that it was also parkerized as advertised, I was sure this was a typo, but it wasn't as the 590 was definitely parkerized.
The model(50668)is not listed by Mossberg as available as parkerized, so I am happily surprised on that count. I will add that Bud's was quite fast in shipping the firearm after the sale was completed, though I will also add that three of my emails seeking further info went unanswered by them prior to my purchase, with one being answered two days after purchase. I also made four futile attempts to contact them by phone.
The great difficulty in getting them to returm my emails in a prompt manner is why I didn't even waste my time calling them to alert them to the rusted magazine tube(I missed it at the FFL, it was obstructed by the lighting) instead I just contacted Mossberg and complained, and honestly, I've found most Mossberg shotguns ship with rust already working at the mag tubes....
All in all I'd rate Buds as good, they were very fast with the processing and shipment, and I attribute their tardiness in responding to my emails, to just being busy....Mossberg on the other hand, well it's not the first Mossberg I've bought that had the magazine tube covered in rust. There will definitely not be another....
