I got a $375.00 DUD / WONT FIRE!!! I did extensive research and saw the writing on the wall, but I hoped against hope that I would get a good one out of the box. I was not so lucky... The weapon feels ok in hand, the finish is not bad at all, however i had to clean, clean, clean to get it in shape. There were rusted areas on the inside and outside of the lips that accept the slide and lots of goo that had to be worked out. The mag release is spongy feeling but functional, and all the controls (slide release, safety, mag release) are pretty natural feeling. As to why the gun does not fire, the hammer never fully seats and does not drive the firing pin forward. The disconnect never fully connects and the hammer wont set to half cock position until the trigger is pulled, then the hammer drops, but only to half cocked position. My gunsmith pointed these things out to me, I didnt understand why it wasnt fully seating untill he showed me. I called Bud's but they said that I would have to send a brand new, out of the box 6 day old pistol back to the manufacturer for repair.... repair on a new weapon. /bang head against wall... the same one I read the writing on! I may shop Bud's again, as they didnt manufacture the pistol, but I expected more in the way of customer service. Robert from Texas.
