This is my first handgun and after putting 100 rounds through it, I'm very pleased. I was worried about bone-jarring kick from a big-ol' 45, but it seems smooth to me. Powerful to be sure, but smooth overall operation. Though this is probably not an ideal candidate for conceal carry. Added bonus for me: buying from Bud's saved me enough to pay for my carry permit, which I qualified for easily with this accurate bruiser.
