I ordered two of these 3" chambered Taurus Judge Magnum's last Thursday, received them at my FFL the following Tuesday. Both Judges have been fired with no unexpected problems. Remember to buy .410 shells with smooth hulls, as the ribbed hull shells will not extract without help. I tried some 3" Remington Express #4 shot which are ribbed; sure enough, had to use a pencil to get the hulls out...The 3" Winchester Super X shells worked fine.

The one thing I don't like is the quality of the front sight, but that is personal preference I suppose as it seems to work fine. My wife and I plan to use these judges as snake killers in the desert's of SE New Mexico and West Texas when four-wheeling or horse back riding. The Judge is not my first choice for personal defense, but as a snake killer that can be converted to a defensive pistol with the use of .45 Colt ammunition I would say this pistol is quite versatile.
