Never owned a 45 1911 but was looking to have one around the house, shot a friend of mines and fell in love. Girsan 1911 is a fine weapon, fit and finish compares well with higher end handguns. Have put over 300 rounds though mine and havnt had one problem. Really like the fact that it has a guide rod like old style 1911s instead of spring, one less thing to wear out. I'd lost like to thank Buds for their quality service and weapons they sell.
