After all I have read and watched regarding Hi-Point firearms, I have to say there are a great many either; misguided, misinformed or flat out, gun snob types out there. I just finished firing the first 100 rounds through this handgun, and didnt have a single mis-feed or FTF. The groupings were in fact, rather outstanding. While this particular pistol is indeed heavy, from my experience it helped greatly with recoil (and thus the resulting very decent groupings, mentioned before). I have fired H&K and S&W .40 before and while "hand comfort" was honestly, better with those, we're still only talking around 2lbs of weight here! Heck if you cant handle two pounds, using two hands, do more push-ups befre shooting! From what it sounds like, perhaps those shooters had poor ammo? I dont know? I invested in Sellier and Bellot ammo, to share between my H&K USP .40 and this Hi-Point, and didnt have any issues with either handgun.
Buds was great, I ordered my new .40 on Thanksgiving Day, and received it the following Friday (first time buyer after all!). Already came back again and purchased a Ruger LCP 380 which I am expecting this week.
