This pistol is a beast! It's big and heavy but after shooting it for a while I haven't had any problems, not a single FTF or FTE. It also shoots straight. I have a Ruger LCP 380 and the Highpoint JHP 45 has less noticeable recoil than the LCP because of its size. It's easy to disassemble for cleaning. Instead of a takedown pin, you have to use a punch pin to hammer out the slide retainer pin but it's easy and no big deal.

I've seen some used Highpoint pistols that are selling for more than what Buds charges for new Highpoint pistols. This is a nice inexpensive pistol and I would recommend it, I am happy with it.
