I've got the 10" barrel in S&W 500. It's a great gun if you like big bore revolvers and are tolerant of recoil. The ammo is a bit expensive but if you reload, you can save quite a bit and custom load it to your liking. Action is smooth and trigger is light but not too light. Well made and finish is a great brushed finish. Like the finish much better than the Smith & Wesson 500 model which has a very scratchy finish that doesn't look like it was polished at the factory. The M/R is a very big and heavy gun, not much lighter than a light rifle but gets a lot of attention at the range. Loads of fun and a conversation starter. Bought mine for the fun factor, don't intend to use it for hunting.
